Guiding for Giant Louisiana Redfish

From October through February, Scott also guides out of Louisiana where giant redfish and black drum are object of his angler’s desire. Each spring, Scott spends peak tarpon season guiding his anglers in the pursuit of “Silver King” during the annual tarpon migration.

Scott has been featured in the Florida Today, Saltwater Sportsman, the Orlando Sentinel, Fly Fishing in Salt Waters, and the Fly Fishing Film Tour in “Off the Grid” for his Mosquito Lagoon and Louisiana guiding and fishing efforts. He is endorsed by Hell’s Bay Boatworks, G-Loomis Fly Rods, Nautilus Fly Reels, Scientific Anglers Fly lines, Quantum rods and reels, Smith Optics, and Simms Products.

Capt. Scott Mac Calla is a U.S. Coast Guard licensed Captain, commercially insured, and legally permitted by the United States National Park Service for the Canaveral National Seashore, the State of Florida, and the State of Louisiana.

NOTE: If Capt. Scott is not available for the fishing date you request, he can still book your trip with another area guide that shares the same work ethics and routinely puts their anglers on quality fish. Capt. Scott only uses the best guides in town to insure your trip is a success.

When you call us, you can expect to book your trip immediately!
